Ethan Mayhem Guffey, age 18, passed away on April 6, 2024. He was born on April 8, 2005 in Holyoke. Ethan was a graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School, Class of 2023. He had a unique style that was balanced by his intuitive nature. He was considerate and conscientious, always willing to help others. He chose spending time with his friends and family over most things but also carried a passion for music, playing video games, basketball, animation, and fishing. He is survived by his mother Erica (Archambeau) Bailey and her husband Chris Bailey of Chicopee; father Forrest Guffey; grandparents, William and Donna Archambeau of Ludlow, Catherine Allen of Chicopee and Mike and Anne Bailey of Chicopee; one brother, Julian Bailey of Chicopee; two sisters, Tessa Bailey of Chicopee and Ashlynn Neukam of Indiana; three uncles, Ryan Moore, Christopher Archambeau and John Archambeau and his wife Jennifer; one aunt Cynthia Karantzoulidis and her husband Steven. He also leaves many other extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 18th, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 19th, 8:30- 9:30 AM at the Grise Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Stanislaus Basilica at 10:00 AM.
