Frank Sattler, 83, of Tifton, died Thursday, July 13, 2006, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Jerry Lillard will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Sattler was born on October 20, 1922 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was the son of Daniel Sattler and Margaret McLaughlin Sattler, both deceased. He was a veteran of World War II in the Pacific with the Marine Corps and a retired tire store employee. He was a member of Our Lady of Good Council Church.
Mr. Sattler is survived by his wife, Louise Noto Sattler of Tifton; two sons, Thomas Sattler of Tifton and Terry Sattler of Knoxville, Tennessee; and nine grandchildren.
