Nancy Loucks Burt
February 6, 1946- March 31, 2024
Nancy Loucks Burt, 78, joined her Lord and Savior on March 31, 2024 at Sugar Fork Crossing. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Bill.
She is also survived by a daughter, Lisa (Rob) Hayes of Muncie, two stepsons, Troy L. Burt of Fishers and Michael L. Burt of Speedway; three sisters, Sally Milne of New Castle, Judy (Don) Ester of Mechanicsburg, and Kathy (Greg) Miller of Indianapolis; two granddaughters Rachel Ratican of Marklevlle and Alyssa Ratican of Muncie; two great grandchildren, Lexi Fulp and James Ratican; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Harry and Grace Loucks, a brother, Michael Loucks, and infant son, Gregory.
Nancy retired from General Motors after 30 years and was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church. What a blessing our church family has been.
She was a 1964 graduate of Anderson High School , and she and Bill were avid Indian fans, holding season tickets for many years. After retirement they spent their winters in Florida.
The family would like to thank everyone at Sugar Fork, Bennett Rehab, Community Hospital and Gentiva Hospice for their loving care the past few months. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 1 PM at Christ Lutheran Church. Visitation with the family will be held from 11 AM until the service at 1 PM.
Memorial contributions may be given to Christ Lutheran Church Stained Glass Fund.
