Nell Jean Jaynes

Nell Jean (Andrew) Jaynes, 90, passed away at Bethany Pointe Health Care in Anderson on March 21, 2024.
She was born on June 12, 1933 in Vevay, Indiana, the daughter of Ethol and Mabel (Rogers) Andrew. Nell was a homemaker and beautician and moved to Anderson in 1996 from Vevay. In Vevay, she was a member of the Long Run Baptist Church, where she was involved in children's ministry and women's ministry. After moving to Anderson she was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church and worked as a seamstress.
She is survived by her children Dennis (Lisa) Jaynes of Wabash and Mary Nell Jaynes of Anderson; four grandchildren, Josh Milburn of Florida, Tyler (Malia) Jaynes of Southbend, Travis (Martina) Jaynes of North Manchester, Taylor Jaynes of Huntington; eight great grandchildren, Jakob Gentile, Bentley and Paxton Milburn all of North Carolina, Elsie and Emmett and Adalie Jaynes of South Bend, Garrett and Drew Jaynes of North Manchester; also several nieces and nephews.
Nell was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett W. Jaynes; grandson, Daniel Milburn, several siblings
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor Dennis Zirkle. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
