Mack Alred Bryant, Jr., 47, of Tifton passed away Friday, May 16, 2003, at Tift Regional Medical Center. His funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2003, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Frank Barfield officiating. Mr. Bryant was laid to rest at Turner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Enigma.
Donnie Burns, Kam Allen, Anthony Barnes, Nick Bombardier, Jimmy Webb and Mack Bryant III served as pallbearers. Keith Rogers served as an honorary pallbearer.
Born May 10, 1956, in Irwin County, Mr. Bryant was the son of Mack Alred Bryant, Sr. of Tifton and Reba Walker Bryant of Ocilla. Before retiring, he worked as a mechanic at Griner's Diesel Service in Tifton.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bryant is survived by four sons, Mack Alred Bryant, III of Lake Wales, Florida, Joseph Bryant of Enigma and Thomas Cooper and Kenneth Vickers, both of Ty Ty; one daughter, Marianne "Prissy" Bryant of Nashville; three sisters, Laverne Burns and Rosemary Palmer, both of Enigma and Rebecca "Becky" Rogers of Abbeville; and three grandchildren.
