Estelle Sellars Ledford Bannister, 67, of Tifton passed away Sunday, June 1, 2003, at her residence. A graveside funeral service was held for Mrs. Bannister at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2003, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where she was laid to rest. The Rev. Ronny Vice and the Rev. Herman Walker officiated.
The members of Grace Baptist Church in Tifton served as pallbearers.
Born November 30, 1935, in Echols County, Mrs. Bannister was the daughter of the late John Newton Sellars and Vinnie Idellar Gay Sellars. She was a homemaker; and she was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Tifton.
Mrs. Bannister is survived by her husband, Charles Bannister of Tifton; one daughter, Jeannie Spires of Worth County; one sister, Christie Roberts of Jacksonville, Florida; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
