Sheila M. Fallon of Winthrop passed away on March 19, 2024. She was 80 years old. Born in Winthrop, she was the cherished daughter of the late Jeannette P. (Visconte) and Robert E. Fallon.
Sheila was employed as a Registered Nurse. She graduated from the New England Deaconess School of Nursing, worked for the American Red Cross, and retired from the Brigham and Women’s Hospital as an Emergency Room nurse.
Sheila enjoyed antiquing, gardening, celebrating Halloween and going to Salem and cheering on the Boston Celtics with her niece Erin.
Sheila was the dear sister of Kitsy Wilcox and her husband James of VT, the late Carolyn Marks and her husband Paul of Madison, NH, and Patricia McCarthy and her husband Thomas of Winthrop. She was the loving aunt to Erin McCarthy, Robert Wilcox, Lesli Hyland and her husband Brian, Michele, David and Jill Marks and great-aunt to Merrick and Matthew Poto.
A funeral service will be held in the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. Winthrop on Friday March 29th at 11:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation 175 Cabot St. #301 Lowell, MA 01854. Interment will be in Winthrop Cemetery.
