Christine Williams, 66, of Greenwood, South Carolina passed away Saturday, May 22, 2004, at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, South Carolina. Her funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2004, in the Chapel of Harley Funeral Home in Greenwood, South Carolina with the Rev. Ralph Cowan officiating. Ms. Williams was laid to rest at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2004, at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Born in Tifton, Ms. Williams was the daughter of the late Gavin Olive Williams and Emma Roselene Conner Williams. She was retired from Greenwood Mills in Greenwood, South Carolin, having worked at the Durst Plant, the Adams Plant and Plant #5. She was of the Baptist faith.
Ms. Williams is survived by two sisters, Betty Williams of Greenwood, South Carolina and Gwendolyn Evans of Tifton.
