May Allbee, 76, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on March 18, 2024. Born in New Castle, Indiana in 1947 to Howard and Dorothy Finch, May spent nearly 60 years in Anderson, Indiana, where she built a loving family and a fulfilling career.
A true caregiver at heart, May dedicated nearly 40 years to serving the community as a clerk on the OB floor at St. John's Hospital.
She found pleasure in simple things – a good bargain, spending time with her husband, the sound of the beach, or cheering on contestants on Wheel of Fortune.
May's greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind her devoted husband Ron, daughter Marla, son Marc, granddaughters Olivia and Grace, sister Pat, niece Shari and step-children Ronnie and Angela.
A private graveside service will be held. Practical to the core, May wouldn't have wanted flowers. Instead, she'd encourage you to hug someone you love tightly, or pick up the phone and express your affection.
May, you are already so missed. We love you.
