Silva and Kaitlyn Silva all of Middleboro. Great grandmother of Lila F. Williams, Chelsea, Holly, James, Paul, Shyanne and Dante all of Middleboro.
Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 8AM. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Bridgewater. Obituary
Mrs. Silva died Wednesday at the Morton Hospital, Taunton after a period of failing health. Born in Braintree, she was a daughter of the late Constanzo and Terasina (Scacco) Carlozzi. She was a hairdresser and owner of Marion & Melva’s Beauty Shop in Brockton for over 40 years. She was a member of the Novelli Club. While Mrs. Silva was a resident of Cape Coral Florida she was a volunteer for the Kidney Foundation for over 20 years.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cards and crafts. She also enjoyed sharing her prize winning cakes and wonderful Italian sauce and meatballs.
She is survived by a daughter Carol (Skillings) Williams of Brockton, a son Fire Chief Robert W. Silva of Middleboro, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 brothers Clito and Anthony Carlozzi and a sister Elda Lawrence of Brockton.
She was the wife of the late Charles F. Silva, mother of the late Charles F. Silva, Jr. and sister of the late Nicholas Carlozzi and Rose Fratangelo
