Barbara Irene Rees Wildes, 73, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2004, at her residence. A memorial service was held for Mrs. Wildes at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2004, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Jack Connell officiating. Mrs. Wildes was laid to rest at a later date.
Born October 5, 1930, in Everett, Massachusetts, Mrs. Wildes was the daughter of the late Leo Page and Margaret Jeffrey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack B. Wildes, who passed away in 1989. She was a homemaker; and she was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Wildes is survived by a loving caregiver, Joe Hutto of Tifton; one son, Wayne Albert Rees of Boston, Massachusetts, two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Billy Harris of Tifton and Lisa and Vincent Misiewicz of Atlanta; three grandchildren, Katie Hill, Robin Alexander and Danielle Gray; and three great-grandchildren, Ryan Alexander, Aubrey Hill and Autumn Hill.
