Debra "Debbie" Lea (Rent) Benefiel, of Chesterfield went to be with the Lord March 15, 2024 at her residence.
She was born June 26, 1950 in Anderson the daughter of Raymond Moses and Bernice Alice (Ramsey) Rent. She was a gymnastic coach for Wright's Gymnastics of Noblesville.
She is survived by her two daughters, Tracy (Mark) Schroeder of John's Creek, Georgia and Heidi (Ronny) Douglas of Anderson; five grandchildren, Hunter (fiancée Marjley) Douglas, Maci Douglas, Madelyn Douglas all of Anderson, Sydney Schroeder of New York City and Natalie Schroeder of Atlanta, Georgia; great granddaughter, Journee Lea-Ann Douglas of Anderson; siblings, Brenda (Steve) Rector of Markleville, Joe Rent of Linton and Luanna (John) Robinson of Anderson; nieces, Amy (Mike) Perry, Susan Mark) Waters, Heather (Ron Earhart) Robinson; nephews, Tom (Randi) Cox, Jerry (Kristi) Cox and John Robinson, II; several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Oliver and Myrtle Rent and John and Alice Ramsey.
Funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Mark Waters officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday from 2-4 P.M. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Wrights Gymnastics of Noblesville or to the family to offset funeral expenses.
