Ethel Sarah Frazier White, 89, of Ty Ty passed away Thursday, September 2, 2004, at her home. Her funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2004, at the First Baptist Church of Ty Ty with the Rev. Danny Jones and the Rev. Larry Layfield officiating. Mrs. White was laid to rest at Ty Ty First Baptist Church Cemetery.
Ricky White, Sammie Castleberry, Jerry Castleberry, Craig Thompson, Kirby Thompson, Kipp Thompson, Ronnie White, Ernest White, Bennie White and Tony White served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were the deacons of First Baptist Church of Ty Ty.
Born December 7, 1914, in Worth County, Mrs. White was the daughter of the late Eddie J. Frazier and Betty Conger Frazier She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clebert Earnest White, who passed away in 1971; one grandson, Donnie Castleberry; two sisters, Myrtice Kickliter and Wynell Walters; and one brother, Avery J. Frazier, Sr. She was a homemaker; and she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ty Ty. She enjoyed gardening and quilting; and she loved her family; loved people; and caring for others. She worked for 27 years at the Shack Cafe in Ty Ty and nine years at the Georgia Agrirama; and had lived in Ty Ty for 57 years.
Mrs. White is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Earnest Lamar and Hazel White of Sparks and Aubrey Parker and Mavis White of Poulan; two daughters and one son-in-law, Audrey S. Castleberry of Ty Ty and Marie W. and Bobby Thompson of Sumner; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Russel and Helen Frazier and Raymond and Susie Frazier, all of Ty Ty; three sisters, Ava Patterson of Sylvester, Grace Lawhorne of Ty Ty and Betty Stanford of Conyers; a sister-in-law, Christine Frazier of Ty Ty; 14 grandchildren, Ronnie White, Bennie White, Earnest White, Nancy Ford, Tony White, Jerry Castleberry, Sammie Castleberry, Rhonda Brewer, Deborah McHone, Ricky White, Faye Land, Craig Thompson, Kirby Thompson and Kipp Thompson; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
