Rosalie A. DeVita, 86 of Arlington died Wednesday after a brief illness in the Sawtelle Hospice House Reading, MA.
Born in Italy, she was formerly of Stoneham and Medford. Rosalie was the daughter of the late Rosa (Ferlauto) and Joseph Gentile. Mrs. DeVita was a member of the Medford Women´s Order of the Sons of Italy.
Beloved wife of the late William P. DeVita. Devoted mother of Gerard J. DeVita of Lee Summit, MO and Rosemary DeVita of Arlington. Loving grandmother of Billy, Scott, Laura, Carrie and 5 loving great grandchildren. Sister of Joseph Gentile of Centerville, Arthur Gentile of Woburn, Helen DeMaggio of New Hampshire and the late John Gentile. Sister in law of Louise Gentile of Barnstable. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford St., Arlington, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Friday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
