Floydean Jewell Pilkinton Stephens, 85, of Omega passed away Sunday. May 9, 2004, at Tift Health Care. Her funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2004, at Omega Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Moon officiating. Mrs. Stephens was laid to rest at Omega Cemetery.
Mrs. Stephens' nephews served as pallbearers.
Born January 7, 1919, in Tift County, Mrs. Stephens was the daughter of the late William Floyd Pilkinton, Sr. and Maude Puckett Pilkinton. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Frances Joyce Pisciotta; two brothers, William Floyd Pilkinton, Jr. and Herman Lee Pilkinton; and one sister, Aurie James Merritt. She was a homemaker; and she was a member of Omega Baptist Church. She had lived in Tifton all of her life.
Mrs. Stephens is survived by her husband, Aubrey "Jack" Stephens of Omega; one son and daughter-in-law, Torry and Loretta Pisciotta of Omega; two sisters, Mildred Jeanette Key of Norman Park and Odell Thornton of Tifton; four grandchildren and their spouses, who loved her very much, Don and Shirley Pisciotta, Joey and Tammy Pisciotta, Kathy and Marty Roberts and Vickie and Freddie Weeks; and five great-grandchildren.
