Margaret Louise Eubanks Sapp, 83, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2004, at Beverly Health Care in Tifton. Her funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2004, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley and the Rev. Robert Beggs officiating, Mrs. Sapp was laid to rest at Turner Primitive Baptist Church Cemtery in Enigma.
William Perry, Jeremy Donald, Terry Reis, Michael Bracewell, Brock Strickland, Jamie Dillard, David Hampton and Mark McDonald served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Mrs. Sapp's great-grandsons.
Born September 25, 1920, in Tift County, Mrs. Sapp was the daughter of the late Susie Richards Eubanks and Dr. James Elmer "Doc" Eubanks. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Sapp; one daughter, Mary Frances Lovett; three brothers; and one sister. She was a homemaker and retired nurse; and she was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Irwin County. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary; the Excelsior Women's Club; and a former member of the Tift Regional Medical Cetner Pink Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Sapp is survived by one son, James "Buddy" Sapp of Worth County; three daughters, Betty Susan Hinson of Enigma and Ann Dillard and Brenda Joyce Salter, both of Tifton; sixteen grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
