Dorothy Pritchard Stewart, 82, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2004, at Tift Health Care. Her funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 14, 2004, at Enigma Congregational Christian Church with the Rev. John Aulds and the Rev. Calvin Bobo officiating. Mrs. Stewart was laid to rest at Enigma Cemetery.
Mrs. Stewart's nephews served as pallbearers.
Born December 14, 1921, in Tift County, Mrs. Stewart was the daughter of the late James M. Pritchard and Mary Seay Pritchard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Deward Franklin "Pat" Stewart, who passed away in 1979. She was a retired nurse; and she was a member of Enigma Congregational Christian Church.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by four brothers, I. G. Pritchard of Tifton, Eugene Pritchard of Blackshear, Homer Pritchard of Ocala, Florida and Carlton Pritchard of Garden City, Michigan; and two sisters, Marie Altman and Betty King, both of Sylvester.
