Maurice J. “Moe” LeBlanc, Jr. 87
Died March 5, 2024 peacefully at home surrounded by his family in Chicopee. Born in Springfield, Ma. November 15,1936 to the late Maurice J. LeBlanc, Sr. and Mildred (Johnson) LeBlanc. He graduated from Technical High School in 1954. He and his wife Joyce A. (Myers) LeBlanc were married on April 28,1962. Moe was a Marine Corp Veteran. He retired from St. Johnsbury trucking and was a member of Local #404 teamsters and a former member of the Chicopee Elks #1849. Moe was a proud blood donor for Mercy Medical Center for many years. He was a communicant of the former Assumption Church in Chicopee. He leaves his Beloved wife Joyce and his children, Gary LeBlanc of Chicopee, Lynne Beattie of Holyoke, and Denise Lemelin of West Springfield. He also leaves his grandchildren, Joshua Rondeau and his wife Holly, Edward Beattie and his wife Bailey, Luis Carrasquillo and his precious great granddaughter, Neely Rondeau. He also leaves his dear sister Marie Thomas and her husband Joseph of Chicopee and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the wonderful people of Hospice of New England. There are no calling hours and Mass and burial will be private. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
