Mr. John K. "Ken" Groff, a resident of Boston, formerly of Andover and beloved son of Peter F. and the late Juliet (Maddock) Groff, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 3, 2024. He was 43 years old.
Ken was born in Boston on October 31, 1980. He was a 1999 graduate of Andover High School, where he was a member of the cross country team. He had been employed as a Manager for a local Hardware Store, for many years. In his spare time, Ken enjoyed writing and making music. He also had a special love for nature and animals. He loved bird watching and the Fenway was one of his favorite places to spend time. He also enjoyed learning Taekwon-Do, studying under the Grand Master Jae H. Kim, and took great pride in advancing several levels over the course of his training. He will be dearly missed.
Besides his beloved father, Peter, Ken is survived by his step-mother; Nancy Cramer of Park City, Utah, loving siblings; Peter E. Groff and his fiancee; Sarah E. Queeney of Medford, Kelley and her husband Steve Palazzolo of Cincinnati, Ohio, Katy and her husband Calpin Hoffman-Williamson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Reed and his wife Kristen Donohue of Park City, Utah and Ryan and his wife Krystle Donoghue of Norfolk and many nieces and nephews.
