James Henry Hutchinson Jr. of Weymouth age 85, passed away on Tuesday February 27th. Hutch was born in South Boston on November 5, 1938. Son to Irene Lyra and James Hutchinson Sr., brother to Linda Kasper. Hutch served in France with the Air Force for two years and then served full time gaining the title of Chief Master Sargent for the United States Air National Guard for an additional forty.
Loving husband to Susan, and they shared 44 years of marriage. James is survived by his daughter Debra White (spouse George), son James Hutchinson III (spouse Diane), daughter Monica Mannion (spouse Ron) and daughter Jessica Pearce (spouse Jacobus). He was also survived by his stepdaughter Jacqueline Maffeo (spouse Steve) and stepson Christopher Hawkesworth Sr. (spouse Donna).
Hutch enjoyed playing golf and coaching both basketball and softball for his daughter Jessica. As “Mumpy”, James is survived by many grandchildren as well as great-grandchildren. He was also survived by his dog, Lola and cat Misty.
