Obituary

BELMONT ---- Kimberley Ann (Pelletier) Sargent, 55, of Wildlife Boulevard, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord.

She was born on April 3, 1968, in Laconia, the daughter of George and Helen (Giguere) Pelletier.

Kimberley worked as a Finance Manager at a few different companies throughout her career. Most recently, she worked as the FP&A Manager at Praxair Surface Technologies in Concord. She was a hardworking woman both in the office and at home. She had a strong drive to provide for her family and make sure they had everything they needed.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, which included all four of her dogs. She loved dogs and was always trying to persuade her family to let her get another. She always gave a convincing argument why she wanted “one more”. She took really good care of her fur babies and her love of dogs rubbed off on her family too.

Her proudest accomplishment was raising her three children and watching them grow up and accomplish their dreams. She would do anything for her family. She was their rock, always making sure they had everything they would need and want. She was the best mom. Any of her three children would tell you that. She was there through every milestone and hardship they faced throughout life.

She loved family trips, especially their yearly family trip to the ocean in Maine. She had been going on trips to Maine ever since she was a little girl and continued this tradition with her own family. She loved the smell of the ocean and the sound of the waves. She didn’t quite enjoy how cold the Atlantic Ocean was in this part of the country, but she did love going for walks on the beach with her family.

More recently, Kimberley found out she was going to be a grandmother (and not just to dogs this time)! She was so excited to become a Mimi. She correctly guessed that the baby would be a little girl. Of course, she started shopping right away when she heard this news. She was so happy that her family was growing. She always wanted grandchildren.

She will always be remembered as a kind, caring, courageous, beautiful woman inside and out. No matter how short or how long people knew her, she made a noticeable impact on their life.

Kimberley is survived by her beloved husband of 31 years, Clayton Sargent of Belmont; two sons, Jacob Sargent and Ryan Sargent; a daughter, Megan Ryan and her husband, Benjamin; a sister, Denise Joyal; and a granddaughter on the way. In addition to her parents, Kimberley is predeceased by her brother, Peter Pelletier; a brother-in-law, Bob Joyal; and a sister-in-law, Jean Roth.

There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 10:00 am, at St. Andre Bessette Parish at Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH 03246.

Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street, Laconia, NH.
