Janet Lavonne (Hampton) Hawkins, 81, of Anderson went to be with the Lord March 2, 2024 at Waters Edge Village.
Janet was born, November 2, 1942 in Marion, the daughter of Everett and Mary (Sullivan) Hampton. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her three daughters, Nancy (Michael) Cannon of Wabash, Kristina (William) Miller of Anderson and Amy (Harold) Humphrey of Anderson; sister, Ardith Rolston of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two grandchildren, Aaron (Carlie) Miller and Cory (Caitlin Skipper) Miller; step-grandchildren, Dustin and Shannon; eleven great-grandchildren, Julia, Aidan, Henry, Veronica, Amelia, Cole, Lila, Caitlyn, Gabriel, Mallory, and Lily.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David L. Hawkins; her son, Matthew Hawkins and a sister, Marlene.
Funeral service will be at 12 noon on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Dr. Kerry Robinson of East Side Church of God officiating. Burial will follow in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery in Marion.
Visitation will be from Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the service at noon at the funeral home.
