Obituary



Mary “Bootie” L. (Hoar) Storella, of Medford, formerly of Stoneham, Lake Havasu, Arizona and Henderson, Nevada, passed away on Wednesday, February 28th. She was 96. Born and raised in Fort Branch, Indiana, she was the cherished daughter of the late Albert and Bernice (Musgrave) Hoar.

Bootie enjoyed visiting the casinos, especially the Green Valley and Sunset Casinos in Henderson, Nevada. You would always find her playing the video poker slots. When Bootie was not spending time at the casinos, she enjoyed traveling with her husband Tom. They traveled to Hawaii and Europe.

Bootie was the beloved wife of 73 years to Thomas A. Storella. She was the devoted mother of Thomas A. Storella, Jr., and his wife Donna of Milton, and William Storella and his wife Susan of Stoneham. She was the loving grandma of Jill, Suzanne, Kate, William Jr., Paul and Terry, and the caring great grandma of 10. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.


Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Tuesday, March 5th from 4 to 8 PM. A celebration of life will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, March 6th at 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
