Michael Loughlin of Westwood formerly of Bergenfield, NJ and Urglingford, County Kilkenny, Ireland. Died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 27, 2024. Retired Sergeant for the Port Authority of NY and NJ. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Tunney) Loughlin for 66 years. Devoted father of Michael Loughlin and his wife Catherine, Mary Loughlin and her partner John Puchniak, Gerald Loughlin, Rita Craig and her husband Scott, Robert Loughlin and his wife Manal. Loving grandfather of Shaun, Emma, Jesse, Brody, Nora, Meg, Allison, Stephen, Evan, Dalia, Sami and Adam. Adoring great-grandfather of Laila, Colette, Eloise, Mila, Roman, Ruby, Truett, Torin, Sadie and Jack. Brother of the late Mary Mullen, Margaret Dillon and Patrick Loughlin. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Michael served in the Korean War with the U.S. Air Force. He had a successful real estate career with Jack Conway Company, West Roxbury.
Visiting hours at the P.E. Murray-F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury on Friday, March 1, from 4-8pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Saturday, March 2, at 9am followed by a funeral Mass in Holy Name Church at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
