Patricia "Patty" Lynn Soulas Forrest, 57, of Preston, died July 11 after a short battle with cancer.
She is survived by her father and mother, Richard and Theo Soulas of Preston; a brother, Richard Soulas and his wife Meg of Bozrah. She will also be sadly missed by her children, Scott Forrest, Sean Forrest of Pawcatuck, and Heather Delaporta and her husband Scott of Mystic; and by her grandchildren, Jayden, Gabrielle, Tyler and Alyssa. Pat will also be missed by special friends Dan Tyl, Jim Haley and Kevin and Lori Forrest.
Pat was a jack of all trades. She worked as a nurse, cook, and a full time “Grammy”. Pat was a spiritual person who loved to garden, travel, and enjoyed music, concerts and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Her family will greet relatives and friends at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic, on Thursday from 5-5:45pm, immediately followed by a prayer service at 6pm.
