William A. Hall

William A. "Bill" Hall, age 88, passed away peacefully at Bethany Pointe Health Campus surrounded by his loving family on February 24, 2024.
He was born June 19, 1935, in Middletown, to Frederick and Irene (Redding) Hall. After graduation from Daleville High School in 1953, he served as a paratrooper in Germany with the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army 1956-58. After returning from the service in 1958, he was employed by General Motors for 34 years. Bill was an avid golfer, playing at several area golf courses. He was a member of the Chesterfield Community Church of God.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Carolyn (Shetterly) Hall of Anderson, whom he married November 29, 1958; son, Pastor Mark (Mary) Hall of Ionia, Michigan; daughter, Karla Hall of Anderson; grandchildren, Kristin Hicks, Jessica (Mitch) McCutchin, Garrett Bausic, Derrick (Viviean) Hall and Landon (Yalvaney) Hall; great-grandchildren, Aiden Hicks, Mya, Kaycee and Coen McCutchin; Bennett Lee Hall; nieces, Tracy Brandon and Jo Yattaw; and several other family members.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; grandchild, C.J. Tirado; daughter-in-law, Tina Hall; sisters and brothers-in-law, Myrna (Bill) Yattaw and Charlotte (Bill) Huntzinger and nephew, Steve Yattaw.
Funeral service with Military rites will be 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service, Anderson with Pastor Mark Hall and Pastor Jerry Grubbs officiating. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. followed by the service.
