Carleton E. Hicks, born on April 14th, 1942, in Brockton, MA sadly passed away on February 17, 2024. He was a man who brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. His great sense of humor and love for telling jokes made him a beloved figure in his community.
Carleton was a proud veteran of the US Army and a dedicated teamster as a professional truck driver.
Aside from his work, Carleton had a passion for sports, particularly the Red Sox and Patriots. He enjoyed watching movies, dining out, and spending time at the beach during his retirement years. His jokes always preceded him, and his presence brightened the lives of those around him.
Carleton is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Hicks, daughters Jennifer McDonald and Danielle Strong, stepson Ric Ellis, stepdaughter Sammi Hutchison, brother Bob Hicks, several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Bourne National Cemetery in Bourne, Ma, on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 12:45 pm, open to the public.
