Meng Chu Goh "Maggie" Griner, 42, of Chula passed away Saturday, February 28, 2004, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 4. 2004, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Hayward Tomblin officiating. Mrs. Griner was laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Johnny Thomas, Ricky Aque, Mark Wood, John Jolly, Ronnie Long and DeWayne Thomas served as pallbearers.
Born September 27, 1961, in Malacca, Malaysia, Mrs. Griner was the daughter Mr. and Mrs. Goh of Malaysia. She worked as a re-packer at Orgill in Tifton; and she attended Northside Baptist Church in Tifton.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Griner is survived by her husband, Ronald Griner of Chula; three sons, Lee Goh of Chula and Joey Griner and Jeron Griner, both of Enigma; one daughter, Lori Griner of Chula; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ray and Loraine Willett Aque of Ocilla; and several brothers and sisters, who live in Malaysia.
