Bernice E. Hill, 70, of Londonderry, NH, died Sunday, July 9, 2006 in the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. Miss Hill was born in Northfield, VT on August 17, 1935, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Nettie (Adams) Hill, and was a resident of Londonderry since 1947. She was a caretaker for Londonderry cemeteries for a number of years. Miss Hill had also provided care for her parents. She enjoyed her nieces and going out for dinner and movies. She was also a friend and caretaker for lost and stray cats.
She is survived by two brothers, Kenneth Hill of Northwood, NH, Wayne Hill of Albuquerque, NM; six nieces; one nephew, several great nieces and great nephews.
Calling hours were held Thursday, July 13, 2006 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Funeral services were held on Friday, July 14th at 10:00am in the funeral home. The burial was in the Glenwood Cemetery in Londonderry.
