Deborah (Fawcette) LoRusso, longtime resident of the North End, passed peacefully on February 13th, 2024. She was 90 years old. Debbie was the loving wife of Salvatore (Sammy) LoRusso, and devoted mother of Jeanne, Carlos, Thomas and the late Angel. She was the loving grandmother of Michael, Alicia, David, Varunie, Joshua, Sarah, Eric, Austin, Leah, Jeffrey, Justin, TJ, Daniel and Lauren.
Debbie was the former proprietor of Debbie's Little Kitchen on Fleet Street, North End, Boston. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family. She will always be remembered for her volunteer time and charity work, especially at the North End Nursing Home and Saint Leonard’s Church.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, February 20th, beginning at 9:30 AM in Saint Leonard’s Church, 320 Hanover St., Boston, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Roslandale.
Debbie’s family expressly requests that flowers be omitted. As an expression of sympathy, contributions may be sent in Debbie’s name to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St., Suite 250, Framingham, MA 01701.
