Celio “Pancho” Lozada, age 87, passed away on February 11, 2024. He was born on September 26, 1936 in Caguas, Puerto Rico, son of the late Gregorio Lozada and Ramona Rivera. Celio worked as a Janitor for many years before he retired. He liked to cook, garden and enjoyed fishing, watching the Mets, boxing and most of all he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife Eufemia (Moran) Lozada of Holyoke; one son Sergio Lozada and his wife Sandra of Holyoke; two daughters, Anna Gonzalez of Holyoke and Ivette Colon and her husband Alexander of Holyoke; 13 grandchildren, Jasmine, Jessica, Jayden, Harold, Joseph, Devin Justin, Bianca, Connor, Ethan, Aliyah, Grace and Shyla; 4 beloved great-grandchildren Landon, Kristopher, Nova and Ariella along with his siblings, Pablo, David and several others. Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024 from 4:00- 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 9:30 – 10:30 at the Grise Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Jerome Church at 11:00 AM.
