Concetta “Tina” (Romano) Ranieri, age 77, of Wilmington passed away on Tuesday, February 13th, at the Winchester Hospital. Raised and educated in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Rose (Serio) Romano. Tina was employed for many years in the insurance industry. She lived in Medford for over 30 years, formerly from Somerville, her hometown. In the past few years she has called Wilmington her home. Tina was a woman of faith. She loved good food and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Tina was the beloved wife of Rocco V. Ranieri, and the devoted mother of Rocco A. Ranieri and his wife Shari of Burlington, Carolyn Reinhard and her husband Richard of Tewksbury, and Tanya Rodrigues and her husband Paul of Taunton. She was the loving grandmother of Joe, Jake, Logan, Tayla, Paul and Brandon, and the dear sister of Maria Frongillo and her husband Michael of Medford. Tina is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, on Monday, February 19th at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford from 9 through 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
