B. Thelma (Fowler) Brayton, 92, of Tiverton passed away on February 11, 2024. She was the wife of the late Rodney O. Brayton, Jr.
Mrs. Brayton was the daughter of the late Mildred (Simmons) and Alvah Fowler, Sr. She was the mother of 9 children, Cynthia (Joseph) Cordeira of Tiverton, Judith (Gerald) Lemieux of Dartmouth, David of Florida, Barry (Dawn) of Tiverton, Bonnie Sage of Porstmouth, Sally (Robert) Fico of Medford, Douglas of Tiverton and Todd (Amy) of Cumberland. She also had 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She is the sister of Alvah Fowler of Florida. She was predeceased by her son Richard, brother Ralph and sister Bessie Emery. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Brayton loved crossword puzzles and was an avid sports and NASCAR fan. She was a life member and past president of Riverside Unit #10, American Legion Auxiliary. She served several times as Veteran Affairs and Rehabilitation Chairman for the Department of Rhode Island. She enjoyed serving the veterans.
