Edward Lamar Fore, 50, of Tifton passed away Thursday, March 11, 2004, at his residence. His funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2004, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Danny Jones officiating. Mr. Fore was laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens.
Jimmy Norman, Gordon Burgess, Billy Brannen, Joey Ogasawara, Roy Odum and Ralph Melton served as pallbearers.
Born August 24, 1953, in Waycross, Mr. Fore was the son of Abalene Turner Fore of Tifton and the late James Edward Fore, who passed away in 1992. He worked as a gas station manager; and he was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Tifton.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Fore is survived by his wife, Becky Fore of Tifton; one brother and sister-in-law, Mickey and Pearl Fore of Tifton; two sisters-in-law, Sherry Bastian and Nina Hubbard; his mother-in-law, Eloise Lu Bastian; four nieces, Marie Fore, Brittany Fore, Nikole Hubbard and Brooke Hubbard; and one nephew, Keith Hubbard.
