Margaret Fowler Fletcher, 74, of Albany passed away Monday, November 8, 2004, at Phoebe-Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. Her funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2004, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. John S. Gibbs, Sr. officiating. Mrs. Fletcher was laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Born August 26, 1930, in Tift County, Mrs. Fletcher was the daughter of the late Leonard Fowler and Susie Della Godbolt Fowler, who both passed away in 1973. She retired from AT&T; and she was of the Methodist faith.
Mrs. Fletcher is survived by her husband, Leon Fletcher of Albany; one son, Timothy Fletcher of Albany; one daughter, Linda Hall of Atlanta; two brothers, Thomas Fowler of Orlando, Florida and Bobby Fowler of Ocala, Florida; and one granddaughter, Donna K. Hall.
