Beulah Louise Lancaster Dixon, 83, of Tifton passed away Sunday, October 24, 2004, at Tift Health Care. A graveside funeral service was held for Mrs. Dixon at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2004, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where she was laid to rest. The Rev. John S. Gibbs, Sr. officiated.
Born April 18, 1921, in Pulaski County, Mrs. Dixon was the daughter of the late James Lancaster and Louise McAllister Lancaster. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Blanton Ernest Dixon, who passed away in 1996; two grandchildren; two brothers; and four sisters. She was a homemaker; and she was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Dixon is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law, Ralph Gibs and Jackie and Quinnette Taylor, all of Tifton; and Larry Taylor of Inverness, Florida; three daughters, Martha Ann Williford of York, South Carolina, Grace Evans of Savannah and Jackie Britt of Hawkinsville, Florida.; eleven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
