Obituary

Patricia A. Abrahamian, 74, of Worcester passed away peacefully at home Monday, February 5th surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her children, Robert Abrahamian of Worcester, John Abrahamian of Worcester, Melinda Abrahamian of Worcester, Sandra Abrahamian of Worcester and Tyrone Abrahamian of Enfield, CT; two brothers, Bruce and David Abrahamian; two sisters, Evelyn Forbes and Esther Brackesy; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by her lifelong partner and father of her children, John Maddox, who passed away in 1998; a brother, Butchy Abrahamian; and two sisters, Joan Abrahamian and Gail Morgan.
Patricia was born in Boston and grew up in Watertown. Patricia was the daughter of the late Frederick Abrahamian and Agnes (Healey) Hamilton. Her contagious laugh was a joy to behold. Whenever she found something amusing, her laughter would fill the room and instantly put a smile on everyone’s face. Patricia’s contagious laugh had the power to uplift spirits and create a lively and cheerful atmosphere wherever she went. Salisbury Beach held a special place in Patricia's heart, as it provided her with not only a beautiful coastal setting but also a sense of peace and rejuvenation. It was a place where she could unwind, recharge, and create cherished memories with her children that would stay with her for a lifetime. Patricia's family-oriented nature was evident in the way she valued and nurtured relationships with her parents, siblings, children, and extended family members. She understood the significance of family bonds and created a strong foundation of love and care within her familial relationships. Overall, Patricia's family was at the core of her identity, and she embraced her role as a family-oriented individual with joy and dedication.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours, Sunday, February 11th from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Her funeral is Monday, February 12th with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding Street. Please go directly to church. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
