Obituary

Henry F. Stadnick, 81, of Oakhurst Drive, Greenville, died Friday, July 7, 2006 at Fatima Hospital. He was a salesman for Park Avenue Cement Block in Cranston for 35 years before retiring in 1991. He was the husband of Ethel B. (van der Voet) Stadnick for 57 years.

Born in Johnston, he was a son of the late Alexander V. and Bertha (Bazan) Stadnick. He had been a resident of Smithfield since 1961.

He was a WWII Army Veteran serving in Company C 339th Infantry Regiment. He was awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart.

Besides his wife he is survived by his son Paul H. Stadnick and daughter-in-law Patricia of Greenville. He was the brother of the late Dorothy Innocenti.

His funeral service will be held Monday at noon in Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial with military honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery.
