Shirley Jackie Smith Coker, 67, of Enigma passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2004, at her residence. Her funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2004, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Tifton with Jim Cattell and Fred Anderson officiating. Mrs. Coker was laid to rest at Cumorah Cemetery in Douglas.
James Arthur Coker, Michael Slater, Ronnie Fields, Tyrone Dean, Robert Thomas and Vince Walker served as pallbearers.
Born July 3, 1937, in Tift County, Mrs. Coker was the daughter of the late Willie Smith and Lorene Adams Smith. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Sherman Wayne Smith. She was a homemaker; and she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Tifton.
Mrs. Coker is survived by her husband, Harvey T. Coker of Enigma; two sons, Gary T. Coker of Hoboken and Terry A.
Coker of Meansville; one sister Patricia Bryant of Tifton; and two grandchildren, Jadison Coker and Sky Coker.
