Morgie Elizabeth Cloud Bailey, 88, of Ormond Beach, Florida, formerly of Tifton, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2004, at Halifax Medical Center in Ormond Beach, Florida. A graveside funeral service was held for Mrs. Bailey at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2004, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where she was laid to rest. The Rev. John S. Gibbs, Sr. officiated.
Born July 18, 1915, in Dublin, Mrs. Bailey was the daughter of the late Jeff Cloud and Margie Hightower Cloud. She was also preceded in death by her husband, H. W. Bailey; and one son, Robert Bailey. She retired from Martin Theatre; and she was of the Methodist faith.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by one son, William Bailey of Ormond Beach, Florida; and one grandson.
