Mack Alred Bryant, Sr., 75, of Enigma passed away Sunday, July 18, 2004, at his residence. A memorial service for Mr. Bryant was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 22, 2004, at Turner Primitive Baptist Church in Enigma.
Born March 31, 1929, in Sarasota, Florida, Mr. Bryant was the son of the late Willie Joe Bryant and Leo Doss Bryant. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jewel Coker Bryant; one son, Mack Alred Bryant, Jr.; and three sisters. He was retired from J. P. Stevens in Tifton; and he was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Bryant is survived by three daughters, Becky Kay Rogers of Abbeville and Laverne Burns and Rosemary Palmer, both of Enigma; and one brother, the Rev. Henry Bryant of Tifton.
