Kathryn Ann (Kay) White, 94, of Halifax passed away peacefully at home on January 30th, 2024, with her loving family by her side. She was the wife to the late Frederick A. White.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen Roulis of Arizona, Brian White of Halifax, Frederick White and his wife Sandra (Hallberg) of Berkley. Kay also leaves behind her sister, Maryann O’Connell and her brother, Phillip Carney and many loving grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Kathryn was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Carney. She was born in Maynard and raised in Whitman. She graduated from Whitman schools and Boston Cosmetology School and was a hair model at Filenes.
She loved her family, her dog Tippy, traveling, gardening, reading, playing bingo, and dancing. She liked keeping up with her grandchildren and great grandchildren via Facebook who reside in Arizona.
She was dearly loved by all her family.
Family and friends are invited to Kathryn’s graveside service Saturday February 3, at 10:00 AM in St. James Cemetery, Whitman.
