WORCESTER – Sandra M. (Reid) Berthiaume, 88, died Saturday, January 27, 2024 in Mass. General Hospital after a short illness.
She leaves 3 children, James J. “Jimmy” Berthiaume, Jr. of Auburn, Sandra M. “Sandy” Berthiaume of Sanford, ME, and Michael E. Berthiaume and his husband Matthew J. Olds, both of Webster; 2 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her son’s beloved chihuahua Bandit. She was preceded in death by her son Lance P. Berthiaume.
She was born on October 7, 1935 in Sanford, ME and raised there, the daughter of Edward J. and Thelma L. (Whiting) Reid. She had lived in Worcester for over 70 years.
Sandra worked as a stitcher at the Brown Shoe Company and then as a housekeeper at Norton Company, both in Worcester before she retired. She liked quilting and playing computer games.
