Jaynetta Fern Pulisevich, 77, of Prosser, passed away on January 22, 2024 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center.
She was born on January 14, 1947 in Sunnyside to Andrew and Vera (McKeen) Pulisevich. She was raised and educated in Prosser and graduated from Prosser High School in 1965. She attended business school and beauty school in Yakima. Jaynetta married Isaac “Ike” Van Nostern in February of 1984 and the couple had two children.
Jaynetta bred and sold registered Himalayan cats and trained Arabian horses. When she was young, she loved music and dancing and later in life enjoyed making stained glass crafts and collecting antiques. She was a great cook and loved gardening and landscaping projects.
She is survived by her children, Krista Van Nostern of Kennewick and Jayson (Katherine) Van Nostern of Port Orchard; three grandchildren, Octavia, Aksel and Elowyn Van Nostern of Port Orchard; two brothers, Donald (Donna) Pulisevich of Gig Harbor and Dale Pulisevich of Bellingham; and her former husband, Ike Van Nostern of Prosser. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Pulisevich.
