UXBRDIGE__Frances P. (Operowski) Surmiak, 73, of Uxbridge, died Monday, January 8, 2024 in Lydia Taft House. She is survived by her longtime partner, Walter Krzynowek; children, Terri Bullard-Mannila and Joseph Surmiak; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a brother Joseph Operowski. She is predeceased by a brother William Operowski.
Mrs. Surmiak was born in Whitinsville, MA a daughter of the late Stanley and Mildred (Gruszecki) Operowski. She worked many years at Data General prior to becoming a private homecare aide.
She enjoyed polka dances for over 40 years with all of her close polka family and friends. She loved traveling and cruising almost just as much as her polkas! But what she loved most was her dearest Walter Krzynowek!
