A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Glenn Gene Porter Jr

Glenn peacefully joined our Creator on January 20, 2024 at West LA VA Hospital in Los Angeles. He was born in Madison, Wisconsin. He joined the military right after he graduated from High School. Glenn was a loving, supportive and responsible husband, father and brother. He was loyal to his family and would do everything for the people he loved.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Teresa Antonio Porter, his son Glenn III and daughter, Trisha, siblings and their wives, Brad and Teena Bill, Brad and Rolieta Porter, Dan and Peggy Porter, Todd and Sue Porter and Andrew and Jarilyn Schlitz. He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn Sr and Virginia and stepdad Hank Clark and siblings Lony, Scottie and Carl.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours to be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 10am to 2 pm in Joseph P Reardon Funeral Home & Cremation Service .757 E Main Street, Ventura, where a Catholic Prayer Service will be held at 1:00 pm followed by Military Honors. Glenn will then be brought to his Final Resting Place on Wednesday, January 31 2024 privately by his family at the Los Angeles National Cemetery.
