FALL RIVER… Gregory Barboza, 71, of Fall River, MA passed away, Saturday, January 20, 2024, at his home.
He was the husband of Valerie L. (DeMoura) Barboza of Fall River.
Mr. Barboza was born in Rehoboth, a son of the late Joseph and Olivia (Ferreira) Barboza and had lived most of his life in Fall River.
He was a roofer with Theberge Roofing until his retirement.
Gregory enjoyed fishing, archery, hunting, and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his widow; 2 daughters: Angelebeth Faria and her husband Louis; Tiffanie Feliciano and her husband Michael, Jr. all of Fall River, 2 brothers: David Barboza of Fall River; Richard Barboza and his wife Carol of Dartmouth; 2 sisters: Lucille Gifford of Fall River; Judith Crawford and husband Alan of FL., 2 grandchildren; Faith; Caleb; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, the late Joseph Barboza and the late Barbara Miranda.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held at the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River MA Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 9:00 A.M. – 10:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Espirito Santo Church at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
