Obituary

William (Bill) Dale Wolf, 75, of Prosser, Washington, passed away on January 3, 2024, at home in Prosser, surrounded by his family after a long fight with cancer. He was born on February 19, 1948, to Thol and Blanche Wolf in Prosser, WA. Bill graduated from Prosser High School in 1966 and the Lower Yakima Vocational Technical School in 1968. He married Virginia Stacy in 1970 and had three sons. Bill lived on the same property his entire life, where he loved hunting, fishing, tinkering on vehicles, and traveling with friends in retirement. He showed his love through his actions. Bill was the first to volunteer when someone needed help. He was dedicated to his family, providing help however he could, from replumbing a house to driving across the state to tow a car. In 1972, Bill started his career at the Benton County Road Department, where he held various positions before retiring in 2012. After retirement, he became a snowbird, spending his winters in Apache Junction, AZ, exploring the desert and riding his side-by-side ATV with friends he grew up with.
Bill is survived by his sisters, Katherine Tokin (Gig Harbor, WA) and Linda Berry (Goldendale, WA); brother-in-law, Frank Berry (Goldendale, WA); sons, Shawn Wolf (Yakima, WA), Shane Wolf (Washington, D.C.), and Shad Wolf (Bend, OR), and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and many friends and relatives.
A Celebration of Life reception is planned for April 13, 2024, at the Prosser Community Center at 1:00 p.m. You may leave a message for the family at WWW.Prosserfuneralhome.com
