Devoted father of Mary Quinan-Smith and her husband Darrell of Frankfort, KY; Joseph P. Quinan and his wife Virginia of Natick; James W. Quinan and his partner Doreen of Waltham; Kathaleen Quinan of Madison, NH; Christine M. Powers and her husband Sean of Natick. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Loving brother of Nancy Young of Worcester and the late William and Margaret Quinan.
Robert was a WWII Navy Veteran and served in the Normandy Invasion on D-Day.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave. Needham on Tuesday, January 23, at 9:30am followed by a funeral Mass in Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church, Newton Upper Falls at 10:30am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Monday, January 22, from 4-7pm. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Needham.
