WORCESTER__ Archie J. Perron, 64, of Worcester, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 6, 2024, in UMass Memeorial Hospital, University Campus. He is survived by his children, Archie J. “AJ” Perron Jr., of Worcester, Stephany Springer and her husband Michael of Bellingham and Sarah Perron of Worcester; twelve grandchildren; siblings, Audrey Perron, James Perron and William Perron; many nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his twin brother Joel Perron and sisters Kathleen Perron and Lydia Smart.
Archie was born in Ware, MA, a son of Francis A. and Audrey (Smart) Perron. Mr. Perron was a self-employed mechanic. He served in the US Army and later served in the Army National Guard. Known for his “fix-it” skills he was always there to help everyone. Family was important to him, and he loved being an “amazing” grandfather.
A memorial calling hour will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. Worcester, MA 01610.
